The EV14 inlet filter is a cylindrical basket screen that presses into the fuel inlet port of the injector body. Sold per filter, one needed per injector.
Replacement inlet filter for Bosch EV14 platform fuel injectors. The EV14 body is used widely across modern OEM and performance applications — Ford EcoBoost turbos, VW/Audi TSI, Subaru WRX, various BMW engines, and popular performance injectors like Injector Dynamics and the Siemens Deka 60lb series.
Performance injector note: Injector Dynamics, ID1000, ID1050x, and Siemens Deka 60lb injectors all use the EV14 body. If you're servicing a set of aftermarket injectors and have lost the original filters, these are the correct replacements.
The Bosch EV14 body platform is the dominant modern high-impedance injector design for performance and OEM turbo applications. It replaced the older EV1/EV6 body and is now used across a wide range of turbocharged 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines.
| Vehicle / Engine | Years | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ford EcoBoost 2.0T (Focus ST, Explorer, Fusion, Escape) | 2012–2019 | 4-cyl EcoBoost turbo. Uses Bosch 0280158827 or similar EV14 unit. |
| Ford EcoBoost 1.6T / 2.3T (Mustang EcoBoost, Focus RS) | 2013–2019 | EV14 platform. 4 injectors on 4-cyl, 6 on some applications. |
| VW / Audi 2.0T FSI / TSI (GTI, Golf R, A4, A3, TT) | 2006–2019 | EA113 and EA888 engines. These are commonly serviced — carbon buildup from direct injection affects them, but the injectors themselves benefit from cleaning too. |
| Subaru WRX EJ257 / EJ205 | 2002–2014 | Flat-4 turbo. 4 injectors. EV14 body used in OEM and many aftermarket drop-in units. |
| BMW N20 2.0T (320i, 328i, 428i, X1, X3) | 2012–2016 | EV14 body. 4 injectors. |
| BMW N52 / N54 / N55 (328i, 335i, X5 35i) | 2006–2013 | Inline-6. N54/N55 use 6 EV14 injectors. High-pressure direct injection — requires bench cleaning, not just on-car flush. |
| Mitsubishi EVO X (4B11T) | 2008–2015 | EV14 body. 4 injectors. |
| Injector | Flow Rate | Common Applications |
|---|---|---|
| Injector Dynamics ID1000 | 1000 cc/min | Popular turbo 4-cyl and 6-cyl builds. Drop-in for most EV14-compatible applications. |
| Injector Dynamics ID1050x | 1050 cc/min | Flex fuel capable. Used in high-output builds where E85 capability is needed. |
| Siemens Deka 60lb (FI114961) | ~630 cc/min | Long-body EV14 style. Very common in tuner/performance builds. Used in LS swaps and high-output domestic builds. |
| Bosch 1650cc (0280158821) | 1650 cc/min | Used in high-power boosted applications, E85 and flex fuel builds. |
The EV14 filter is a different size from the older EV1 and EV6 filters — they are not interchangeable. If you're unsure which filter your injector uses, look at the existing filter or compare body dimensions. The EV14 inlet port is wider in diameter than EV1/EV6. Aftermarket injector manufacturers like Injector Dynamics publish injector body specs on their product pages — check there first if you have non-OEM injectors.
